YACHT-POOL Nautical Insurance was established in 1976 and since then, we provide specialist marine insurance services as an underwriting agent. The business is owned and managed by working directors, all of whom have over 40 years of experience in the nautical insurance market, guaranteeing unbiased advice and independence of operation. We are authorized & regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (German BAFIN), and comply with all the professional, solvency and operational requirements of the German insurance market, including Lloyd’s. Whilst operated and managed from Germany, we have established schemes and/or markets for skipper insurance elsewhere in Europe and Worldwide.

We have created special skipper insurances to provide skippers with safety. As always, the details contained in the terms and conditions are the most important. Sometimes, other insurance companies copy our terms and conditions and delete the most important clauses. Make sure that what you are buying is the original YACHT-POOL’s skipper insurance.

Also, our claim adjustment is very fast and professional.
